You need to apply two patches to JInitiator: Patch 7410076 and Patch 6169479.
Patch 7410076 updates JInitiator to version 126.96.36.199 and fixes some bugs and security issues.

To apply these patches, you need to unzip the files and copy them to the following directory: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Oracle\\JInitiator 1.3.x.x\\bin\\hotspot
Replace the existing files with the patched ones and restart your computer.
Configure Internet Explorer
You also need to configure some settings in Internet Explorer to make it compatible with JInitiator.
First, you need to add the URL of your Oracle Forms application to the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer.
To do this, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites and enter the URL of your application in the Add this website to the zone box.
Second, you need to disable Protected Mode for the Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer.
